LIFE BIOGASNET project partner Eurecat participated to the 2021 edition of the BforPlanet Congress, 2-day hybrid event which has been celebrated in Barcelona and online on 7th and 8th of July.
The project was included in Eurecat’s brochure as one of the key research and innovation projects in sustainability and resources management sector, developing new cost-effective technology for biogas desulfurization based on biological processes, being able to obtain a high quality biogas.
The technology developed by the project presents potential environmental advantages compared to current practices of biogas desulfurization: it can reduce the environmental footprint up to 55% by reducing the carbon dioxide emission, it reduces reagent consumption and additionally, it allows to obtain a secondary raw material minimizing the waste production.
