LIFE BIOGASNET project celebrated its first hybrid workshop “Consortium experiences in biogas purification system” in the University of Cádiz facilities on October 14th.
The workshop, attended by almost 50 participants via online and 20 in person, had the objective to showcase the novel technologies related to biogas desulfurisation and was designed to be a forum of discussion on new opportunities and advances in biogas promotion as a renewable energy source.
The event counted with the participation of Mª Jesús Mosquera, vice-rector of the Scientific and Technological Policy of the UCA, which inaugurated the event and David Gabriel, professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), which gave the opening speech talking about the advanced integration of N/S cycles in integrated liquid and gaseous effluents treatment.
On the other hand, Xavier Gamisans, LIFE BIOGASNET coordinator from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), and project partners Josep A. Torà from AERIS; Juan Jesús Ortega, from Bioreciclaje de Cádiz; Martín Ramírez, from the University of Cádiz; Dimitris Malamis, from the National Technical University of Athens and Caroline Sielfeld from Eurecat, also participated in the event.
