Researchers from 6 institutions and companies in two European countries met on October 24-25 at the facilities of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Manresa to launch LIFE BIOGASNET project, which aims to develop a new cost-effective and low-carbon footprint technology for biogas desulfurisation based on biological processes.
In this meeting, presentations were made by each of participating companies in order to explain what tasks they perform and what responsabilities they have. During the meeting, partners visited the Lab of Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
The kick-off meeting was attended by all consortium partners with representatives from the UPC, project coordinator, a research centre (Eurecat Technology Centre), two universities (University of Cadiz and the National Technical University of Athens), one engineering company (AERIS Tecnologías Ambientales) and Bioreciclaje de Cádiz as an end-user.
