The session was organised by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwp.cat\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Catalan Water Partnership (CWP)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/universitat-autonoma-de-barcelona-1345467954774.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB)<\/a> and the research group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genocov.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GENOCOV<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the webinar, Ramirez and Cubides presented LIFE BIOGASNET as a key <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/easme\/en\/life\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LIFE<\/a>-funded European project for <strong>boosting the use of biogas as a sustainable energy source, reducing the carbon footprint of the energy cycle and promoting the circular economy concept<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biogasnet.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Presentacion-Biogasnet-18122020-vf.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download the presentation here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biogasnet.eu\/ca\/\">LIFE BIOGASNET project<\/a> is developing a <strong>sustainable, profitable and environmentally friendly biogas purification technology<\/strong> coupling a nitrification bioreactor with either an anoxic gas-phase biotrickling filter or an anoxic bioscrubber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The webinar also counted with the participation of <a href=\"http:\/\/aeris.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aeris Tecnolog\u00edas Ambientales<\/a>, partners from the project, together with representatives from the <a href=\"http:\/\/aca.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Catalan Water Agency (CWA)<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dam-aguas.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mediterranean Water Purification association (DAM)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/universitat-autonoma-de-barcelona-1345467954774.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB)<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cetaqua.com\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Water Technology Centre \u2013 CETAQUA<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LIFE BIOGASNET partners Carolina Ramirez and David Cubides from Eurecat, have presented the project during the webinar \u201cPresent and future of biological gas treatment\u201d, celebrated las 18th of December.
